 Summary of the interpretation of Surah Al-Baqrah, from verses 1 to verse 16

Surat Al-Baqarah begins with the

verse { alm }

These letters are separate letters, and the meaning of separate letters is that each letter is pronounced separately.  Pronounced like this alf. lam meem

We find that the beginnings of some surahs begin with letter names.

{Alm}, such as the beginnings of Surat Al-Baqarah, Al Imran, Al-Ankabut,

 Ar-Rum, and Luqman, are pronounced separately, while in other surahs, { alm }  they are pronounced as a complete word with a known meaning This means a known question and answer for both the questioner and the addressee, as in Surah Ash-Sharh, verse 1: { [alm ]. Have We not expanded your breast for you?}, and in Surah Al-Fil, where Allah says: {[ alm]. Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?}. The openings of some surahs contain separate letters with different consonants, such as Surah Ar-Ra'd ( almr  )  Pronounced like this  (Alif, Lam, Meem, Ra), Surah Yunus and  surah Yusuf  ( Al R) Pronounced like this[  Alif, Lam, Ra]  and Surah Ash-Shuar(Tsm )  Pronounced like this [  ta. seen . meem  ]

Verses 2-5 discuss the Book of Allah, the Quran, and the types of people; some choose faith and some disbelieve. Verses 2-5 explain the type of people who choose faith, namely the believers, and their characteristics. Among the characteristics of the believers are those who believe in Allah, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day. They fear Allah, so they act in accordance with what is stated in the Quran, doing what Allah has commanded of good and avoiding what Allah has forbidden. The verses explain that the believers establish prayer and spend from Allah's provisions.  There is a connection between prayer and spending from God's provision. Prayer is a bond of love between God and His servants, and spending from God's provision leads to communication, love, and affection between His servants. It also leads to a bond and love between the servant and his Lord through obedience. We find that God said about the believers in verse 5 that they are successful, as if their good deeds were a seed they successfully planted, so God rewarded them and admitted them into His Paradise. As for verses 6 and 16, the verse speaks about the disbelievers, who are of two types: the disbeliever who openly declares his disbelief, and the disbeliever who claims to believe, which is the most severe type of disbelief, and they are the hypocrites. Disbelief is a cover, as if the disbeliever deliberately conceals his belief through disbelief, because faith requires discipline, compliance with God's law, and doing what He has commanded. God commands justice and equality among people, while the disbeliever does not appreciate this equality between the rich and the weak, between the capable and the slave, because he hates to exert effort and waste some of what he has in this world for the sake of attaining eternal bliss in the hereafter.  Therefore, the disbeliever persists in his disbelief, whether he is a disbeliever who openly declares his disbelief, or the most extreme disbeliever, namely the hypocrites who claim to believe. The verses indicate that Allah Almighty wanted to make it clear to His noble Messenger that whether he warned these disbelievers or not, they would never believe, because Allah knows the secret and what is hidden, knows what is in their hearts, and knows that they have never believed. So Allah wanted to expand the chest of His Prophet and not burden it. This was because the Prophet was sincere in his message and was striving to convert them all to Islam. However, Allah knows that some people did not believe because they persisted in their disbelief and were content. And whoever is self-sufficient, then indeed, Allah is self-sufficient and independent of His servants. We will neither increase nor decrease in Allah's Paradise, and Allah is Self-sufficient. Rather, we are the ones in need of Allah Almighty. Because of the disbelievers' persistence in their disbelief, Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing and blinded their hearts. These hypocrites are the most extreme disbelievers; they deceive the believers. They claim to believe, but they are liars and deceive Allah.  This deception reveals the folly of their thinking. Who can deceive God, the Knower of the unseen, the Creator of all things, the Knower of the secret and the hidden? These hypocrites have a disease in their hearts that troubles them, and they live lives full of lies, distorting what is on their tongues and in their hearts. There is no cure for this except by God's permission, and His cure is true  and sincere faith.

The disease increases in their hearts with their hypocrisy

 and disbelief, and they even corrupt, that is, they corrupt the blessing of Allah that Allah has bestowed upon man, which is the blessing of the divine method, by conspiring against this method and affirming that they are believers who reform and do not corrupt But they are corrupt,  They do this foolishly, and their hearts are sick, accustomed to lying and are skilled at it. They do this without realizing it. They are liars because the one who does not follow the method is certainly the one who corrupts and does not reform. Moreover, they tell people that the believers are fools. If they think that the believer is among the fools, You embody foolishness itself, with all its foolishness. The lives of these fools are not good because they are contradictory. Their entire life is fabrication and contradiction. then. how do you, O hypocrites, claim, with the foolishness of your thinking, that you are believers   in the faith  this describe him as foolish ? They embody foolishness itself, with all the foolishness that it carries. Indeed, the fools’ lives are not right because they are not in harmony with each other. Their lives are all fabrication and contradiction.

The tongue belies the heart. Action belies the belief. It is foolish to say that they are being mocked, but it is Allah who mocks them, and the mockery is painful. In the Hereafter, He will place them in the lowest level of Hell. He will not make them equal to the disbeliever, because the sin of the hypocrite is more severe. That is, He will increase their tyranny, and He will extend this tyranny itself. And the Almighty’s saying (they are blindly) means they are floundering, which is floundering in values and the way of life. Allah the Almighty likened their adherence to misguidance to a deal and a trade. They sold guidance, which is the capital of man in the reason for his entry into Paradise and the price of the believer’s entry into Paradise, and they bought misguidance, for they did not gain misguidance, nor did they even leave the capital of man, which is the guidance that leads to Paradise. That is, guidance is paid to obtain misguidance, in the sense that the word bought means sold in the verse, and they lost  everything.

.And peace be upon you and Allah’s mercy and blessings
