Summary of lnterpretation

of Verses 65-77 of   Surat Al-Baqa

Interpretation of 65 :66 verse of Surah Al-Baqarah

The Quran tells us a story hat shows the extent to which the Children of Israel deceived God and how they were punished.   They were fishing, so they asked to have one day of the week off from work, and God gave them the Sabbath. Then He tested them by making sure that whales and fish only appear on the Sabbath. They made something called deep ponds to deceive God by not working on this day.

At the same time, they would get fish. But they were stupid, because it was forbidden to take fish into their possession by fishing on the Sabbath  . As soon as He said, “Be apes,” they were. Before they paid attention or knew anything, they were apes. As soon as they were transformed, they did not reproduce until they became extinct.

By God’s mercy, they do not eat, drink, or reproduce

. They remain for a while, then become extinct due to diseases   and epidemics, and this is what happened to them.  They have that not all Jews were disobedient but there was a minority of them who disobeyed and were transformed.   and the majority remained so that their descendants .reach us today God Almighty punished them for what they transgressed, for they exceeded the limits God had set for them by deceiving them to disobey

His command in order to deceive the command of God Almighty so that it would be a lesson   so that it would not be repeated by their descendants when they hear from those they saw who were their contemporaries and it would be a lesson for those who fear the punishment of God

Interpretation of 67 :77 verse of Surah Al-Baqarah

Then the Holy Qur’an comes with another story, which is the story of the yellow cow, which shows us the extent of the foolishness and insistence of the Children of Israel on disbelief

A young man was in a hurry to inherit his uncle’s inheritance because he was his uncle’s only heir, so he killed him in the deep darkness of the night, then threw the body at the door of a   neighboring village

. The village exchanged accusations against each other and denied the accusation themselves. In such cases, the law was for fifty men to take an oath “of major and notable sins”   So they asked Moses to He   asked God, Blessed and Most High, to reveal to them the mystery of this crime and lead them to the killer.

The command came from God Almighty to slaughter the cow, and it had special   characteristics. The reaction of the Jews was that they thought that Moses was mocking them, so Moses was astonished at their statement.

How could a prophet mock anyone, especially anyone? By order of the affairs of God Almighty, and he sought refuge in God that he should be among them, that is, one of the ignorant. And after Moses responded, he sought refuge in God that he should be among the ignorant, that is, one who mocks the matter of religion..

Then they said, “Call upon your Lord for us,” and this method was repeated, as they would direct the question to Moses, so he would pray to God, and it would come to him. The answer is from God, Blessed and Most High. Instead of implementing the order and ending the matter, they ask another question. Which leads the answer to another question, and so on. Then God gave them   descriptions of a cow that only apply to one cow. It is as if they stressed themselves, so God made them hard on them, and we come to the descriptions of the cow

To be very bright yellow in color. And young in age, and to have been born once and not sick and not used for plowing or cultivating the land.  And not to irrigate crops, that is, not used to manage water courses to irrigate crops.

And to be free from defects  Then they arrived to the intended cow with the specifications mentioned. This cow had been entrusted by the righteous man to God until his son grew up, so they bought it and slaughtered it and God Almighty commanded that they beat him with some of it.

That is, they hit the dead person with a part of the dead cow, and he comes back to life and pronounces the name of the killer, so that the children of Israel, while they were alive, would see how God revives the dead, and for them to know that a person does not remain alive by the means of life. but by the will of the Cause of life to say (Be, and it is).

Then we find that their hearts harden afterward. All of this is like stones or even harder, because the center of sensation and feeling is the heart.

Therefore, we find stories and situations that showed us miracles that soften the heart, including the story of the cow. In it, God commanded them to slaughter a cow and to hit it together, and as a result the dead person was pronounced in the name of the killer.

We find that this miracle did not affect their hearts, but rather their hearts hardened after that, and the verses describe these Jews with the hardness of their hearts, which were like stones.

Or worse than that, because some stones fall out of fear of God, and some water gushes out of them, like us. It happened that God inspired Moses to strike him with a stick, and intense water gushes out of him. It was as if the stones were touched by kindness and mercy and water came out of them.

But if your hearts are hardened, neither kindness nor mercy will touch them, and they will never soften. They are harder than stones. Everything they do is known to God Almighty

They disobeyed their Lord. They returned grace with disobedience, and mercy with disbelief, and were unable to return it due to the hardness of their hearts.   This is due to their cruelty, foolishness, and lack of thinking. They became famous for distorting the word of God after they knew, knew, and understood. I found in the verses God’s consolation for His Prophet for not obeying him.   Faith or conversion to Islam

Because God is their creator and knows what is in their hearts and that they do not believe

We find that the Jews prevent those who acknowledge the prophetic message and those who mention the Prophet’s description of the believers because they fear that the words of the believers will be a proof against them before their Lord. Because they do not understand,   we find that their interpretation indicates the validity of the descriptions of the Prophet in the Torah, and that they know that the universe has a Creator and they fear Him, just as they know that the   descriptions of the Prophet in the Torah are true, so they wanted to hide this fact. And God knows what they conceal and what they declare.
