summary of the interpretation of the verses of Surat Al-Baqarah from verse 102 to
verse 113.
Verse 102 explains to us that whoever practices magic has disbelieved
In the time of Solomon, peace be upon him, the devils used to eavesdrop, because God Almighty enabled them to hear the commands of heaven, so the angels used to receive these commands until they came down to earth to implement them, but when the Qur’an was revealed and Muhammad, peace be upon him, was sent, these devils were prevented from all of that, because God sent down upon them burning stars that would burn them whenever any devil tried to eavesdrop from heaven.
Before the Qur’an was revealed and Muhammad, peace٢ be upon him, was sent, the devils used to take these commands and add lies to them and transmit them to the priests, the leaders of disbelief among the Jews, until it reached the point where people believed these superstitions and thought that the jinn and devils knew the unseen. Corruption has spread and the earth has been filled with disbelief and magic that harms people and separates a man from his wife and other things, but everything is by the command of God. All of this is a trial from God to test people’s faith. Whoever practices magic has chosen disbelief and is one of the disbelievers and will have a painful punishment. We find that many Jews practiced magic and insisted on choosing disbelief and following what the devils recited of this magic after they rejected the Book of God, which is the Qur’an, just as they rejected the Torah before. The Jews were not satisfied with this, but they accused Solomon of not being a prophet and that God did not give him this kingdom, but rather he practiced magic. But Allah the Almighty gave Solomon the kingdom.. He gave him these blessings of speaking to birds and harnessing the wind and other things in response to Solomon's supplication to Allah the Almighty when the prophecy came to him, so he supplicated to Allah to give him a kingdom that He would not give to anyone after him, and because Allah defends those who believe, Allah defends His prophet, and exonerates Solomon, peace be upon him, by saying that Solomon did not disbelieve and did not practice magic, but rather those who practiced it and spread it on earth, whether they were those who eavesdropped from the devils or from humans or from the jinn, they are all like devils or they are devils originally because they follow them, so they knew that whoever practiced magic had disbelieved in Allah, but they insisted on choosing disbelief.this is a wicked purchase, purchasing the transient world with the hereafter, and purchasing disbelief with faith, that is, abandoning faith and the bliss of the hereafter, so they are all disbelievers.
If they had chosen faith and feared Allah and feared His* punishment and abandoned magic, which Allah the Almighty said is disbelief, it would have been better for them.
And Allah would have given them a great reward for abandoning disobedience for the sake of Allah..
We find that the Jews always use all methods to shake
the faith in the hearts of Muslims, to the point that they even lie in wait for a word from the Holy Quran, such as the word Ra’ana, which means in Arabic, protect us, but for the Jews it means insults and slander, and they used it mockingly to insult the believers, but because Allah is wise, He replaced it with the word Unzurna, which gives the same meaning, Ra’ana, meaning, look at us and protect us, and Allah commanded the believers to listen and obey in the prohibition of the word Ra’ana and replace it with the word Unzurna, meaning, look at us and protect us, O Lord. Allah has threatened those who disbelieve with painful punishment if they use this word to insult the believers
We find that hatred and envy are not only from those who disbelieved from the People of the Book, but also from the polytheists The infidels who do not belong to any religion, all of them do not want the good that descends upon the Messenger of God and the believers from the signs of goodness upon the believers, and therefore God wanted to respond to them and their envy and hatred by saying that God chooses for His mercy whomever He wills of His servants, and that God bestows His favor upon whomever He wills, and indeed God bestowed His favor upon His Messenger and the believers with the bliss of faith and His light and His mercy in the hearts of the believers and other than that of the bliss of God.
We find the Jews lying in wait for Allah’s commands and prohibitions, so they criticize and are surprised that Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade them in a verse and then commanded them otherwise, and revealed that Allah abrogated one verse with another. Abrogation means removal, so if He removes a verse with another or leaves a verse at its most appropriate time, then the first verse is more appropriate and better in ruling at its time. After time passes and changes, Allah replaces one verse with another that is more appropriate for its time and better in ruling than the one before it. or equal in ruling. There is no abrogation in beliefs because beliefs are fixed and do not change, nor in news
God Almighty changes, alters and forgets whenever He wills. The kingdom belongs to God, the All-Powerful, the All-Powerful. God’s power and greatness are apparent to the heart and the eye, that is, to sight and insight. He has absolute power. Therefore, he asks a question of confirmation, which is (Do you not know?) and what comes after it, we find that the listener finds only one answer, which is that he acknowledges what God Almighty said and says (Yes, my Lord, You are the Truth and Your word is the Truth)..”
The Jews continued to shake the believers and criticize the actions of the believers and prophets and accuse them of magic and disbelief, to the point that they criticized the Book of Allah, His words, His commands and prohibitions, and even lay in wait for the verses of Allah Almighty from the beginning of the word to the verses and change them with the command of Allah Almighty. All of this was out of their insistence on tempting the believers and shaking their faith, to the point that some of the believers asked the Messenger of Allah questions that might lead to misguidance and disbelief. Allah Almighty wanted to remind the believers of the behavior of the disbelieving Jews with their messengers, that they would ask their Messenger Moses questions that would lead them to misguidance. Out of Allah’s love for the believers, He asked them, “Do you want to ask the Messenger of Allah?” as Moses was asked before, for they bought disbelief in exchange for faith and went astray from the path. Allah wants the believers not to go astray from the path of faith.
And Allah the Almighty explains to them that most of the People of the Book who are disbelievers want to return them to disbelief after believing. This is envy and hatred from themselves because they knew the truth.
Which is that they were certain of the truth of the descriptions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and that he is the Seal of the Prophets as mentioned in the Torah, and they insisted on disbelief and disbelief in the message of the Prophet.
Despite all this, Allah commanded forgiveness and pardon until another command comes from Allah, because this situation regarding the Jews and what they do to the believers will not continue, because as long as Allah said until Allah brings His command, then Allah’s command must come, and a day will come when they will be held accountable for their crimes, and this day is not far away, because Allah has absolute power in His kingdom, and He is capable of all things.
Therefore, Allah commanded the believers to remain steadfast in faith, and to accept the obligation, by praying and giving zakat, and they are the connection between the believer and Allah. Prayer is the connection between the servant and his Lord, and zakat is the connection between people because it is the implementation of Allah’s command, so it is also the connection between the servant and his Lord. So if he gives zakat or charity Or pray or perform Hajj, for every good deed that the believer does, he will be rewarded for it, and the good that you do is in the hand of Allah, the All-Seeing, from whom nothing is hidden, and Allah is All-Seeing of all things.
And the sects of the enemies of religion, the Jews, Christians and polytheists, continue to try to spread despair in the hearts of the believers with lies and frustration so that they will move away from Islam. Among these attempts is their claim that no one will enter Paradise except those who are Jews or Christians, and these are nothing but the wishes of fools because they do not come true. And the saying of Allah Almighty confirms that they are liars. They have no evidence that they will enter Paradise alone, and they will not find in the books of Allah or in the sayings of His Messengers anything that supports what they claim.
When Islam came, Allah ruled that whoever did not enter Islam would not enter Paradise because it is the seal of religions and whoever submits his face to Allah, that is, he submits to Allah, and the face is one of the most honorable things in a person, because it performs the highest feelings, which is prostrating to Allah, and whoever believes and does good deeds and is sincere to Allah, his reward with Allah will increase, and he will not fear or be sad because Allah reassures the believer with reward and Paradise.
Despite their agreement to try to shake the faith of the believers, some may think that this agreement indicates their love for each other, but hatred has taken hold of them even towards themselves, and the Jews say that they will enter Paradise alone and the Christians have nothing, and the Christians say that they will enter Paradise alone and the Jews have nothing, and the polytheists say that the Jews and Christians have nothing.. and it was supposed that the People of the Book would be distinguished, knowing from their books Paradise and Hell, bliss and torment, but they became equal to those who did not know anything about Paradise, Hell and the Hereafter, they are the polytheists, and this great disagreement will be judged by Allah Almighty, for He is the One who knows everything, and He will judge between them with the truth on the Day of Resurrection and in the sight of all of Allah’s creation
