Surah Al-Baqarah verse 146

Those to whom We gave the Scripture know him as they know their own sons. But indeed, a party of them conceal the truth while they know [it].

Surah Al-Baqarah verse 147

The truth is from your Lord, so never be among the doubters.

Surah Al-Baqarah verse 148

For every religious following is a direction toward which it faces. So race to [all that is] good. Wherever you may be, Allah will bring you forth [for judgment] all together. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

Surah Al-Baqarah verse 149

So from wherever you go out [for prayer, O Muhammad], turn your face toward al‑Masjid al‑Ḥarām. And indeed, it is the truth from your Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.

Surah Al-Baqarah verse 150

And from wherever you go out [for prayer], turn your face toward al‑Masjid al‑Ḥarām. And wherever you [believers] may be, turn your faces toward it in order that the people will not have any argument against you, except for those of them who commit wrong; so fear them not, but fear Me. And [it is] so I may complete My favor upon you and that you may be guided.

 Surah Al-Baqarah verse 151

Just as We have sent among you a messenger from yourselves reciting to you Our verses and purifying you and teaching you the Book and wisdom and teaching you that which you did not know.

Surah Al-Baqarah verse 152

So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.

Surah Al-Baqarah verse153

O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient

Summary of the interpretation of Surah Al-Baqarah

verse 146 :148

The Holy Quran has presented many situations that show the extent of the People of the Book’s denial of the truth, their rejection of it, and their insistence on disbelief.

They knew the Messenger of God as they knew their own sons, and his descriptions were mentioned in the Torah and applied to him.

They knew his time and knew his message, which they were trying to cast doubt on, as they knew the matter of changing the Qiblah. Those of them who converted to Islam

And believed believed out of conviction.

As for those who did not believe and disbelieved in what the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, brought, they knew the truth and knew that it was the truth, but they concealed what they knew of the facts that they found before their eyes. God addresses the Messenger of God, but the Messenger is infallible, so what is meant by him is the nation of the Messenger of God, which is the nation of Islam.

He addressed the nation of Islam with a warning because God loves the believers and does not want them to fall into what the enemies of Islam fell into, so that they do not doubt, that is, not an atom of doubt enters their hearts that the truth is from God.  Despite all these directives to the nation of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, God made

His servants free to choose, and sent down messengers with heavenly books to teach man his religion and the heavenly method, and taught man that whoever chooses faith will have Paradise, and whoever chooses disbelief will have Hell, and left man to his own choice.

After man learned the reward for every choice, he became responsible for his choices, and each one has a different direction from the other. Some people turn to disbelief, and some people turn to faith, and these choose obedience and those choose disobedience, and whoever God guides turns to righteous deeds as if he is racing towards them.

What is required of the believers in this worldly life is to race towards good deeds

everywhere, because the more they race towards good deeds, the more their good deeds increase and their bad deeds disappear, until they attain the pleasure of God, and God admits them into Paradise before their time comes, and God brings all people, meaning that the

Truth, glory be to Him, wants to teach us with certainty that we will not escape His punishment, for He, glory be to Him, is capable of everything.

Summary of the interpretation of Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 149:150

Changing the direction of prayer caused a violent shock. The enemies of Islam tried to cast doubt on the issue of changing the direction of prayer. Therefore, the issue of changing the direction of prayer was repeated three times in the Holy Quran, one time inside the mosque and the second time outside the mosque.

The third is from all directions. To establish the believers, whether they are in the city or outside the city or anywhere on earth.

This is their Qiblah in every prayer regardless of the place they pray in. And because the enemies of Islam always try to cast doubt on the matters of the religion of Muslims and shake the souls of the believers, especially in the matter of changing the Qiblah, they ask the enemies of Islam about the reason for changing the Qiblah and they say that it should not have been done because it does not increase the obligation. But this is not an argument to cast doubt on changing the Qiblah because Jerusalem has no sanctity in itself and the Sacred Mosque has no sanctity in itself, while sanctity is in obeying Allah. Allah commands and we obey the command of Allah.

Therefore, Allah reassures the believers that what you did by changing the Qiblah is a truth that came to you from Allah, the Blessed and Exalted. And Allah, the Almighty, is not unaware of your work, such that you have turned towards the Sacred House.  Know that Allah, the Almighty, encompasses you in everything you do, and what you do is good because you obeyed Allah in your prayers and made your qiblah the Holy House as Allah commanded, then you moved to the qiblah that He changed to the qiblah of Mecca. So rest assured that you are on the right path,

So obey Allah and do not fear the oppressors, those who transgressed the limits and denied the truth, and they are the infidels of Quraysh, the infidels of the Jews, and the hypocrites.

Rather, fear belongs to Allah alone, and the believer does not fear any human being, because he knows that all power belongs to Allah.

Therefore, he does not fear anyone except Allah, the Almighty, and that is from the completion of the blessings of faith, so faith is the beginning of the blessing, and fearing and obeying Allah is the completion of the blessing.

Summary of interpretation of verse 151 :153  of Surat Al-Baqarah

The verses tell us that God Almighty

He  sent a messenger from among mankind, and he was raised by his Lord to have good morals, good speech, truthful speech, and everything that increases a person’s dignity.

He was an illiterate Messenger, so his Lord taught him to teach people what his Lord taught him from the Book of Allah, which is the Holy Quran.

He recites to them His verses and purifies them, meaning that the verses of Allah that are recited teach them what benefits them in every action that brings them goodness and righteousness, and brings the servant closer to Allah, and purifies them by removing harm.

It is a purification from sins and from everything that angers Allah, such as idol worship, burying girls alive, alcohol, gambling, usury, and other things.

He teaches them that whoever does not believe in Allah Almighty and does not believe in the message of His Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace,

And does not follow the commands of Allah Almighty, is a disbeliever who will face a great punishment.

Whoever believes in God Almighty and believes in the message of His Messenger, may God bless him

And grant him peace, and follows the commands of God Almighty and acts upon them and avoids what God has forbidden in the Quran that is recited, then he is a believer and God will reward him with God’s pleasure and Paradise and teach them what they did not know.

Everything that God created, what we know and what we do not know, is beyond the capacity of humans and the civilizations of the earth. God wants good for His servants,

So we mentioned God Almighty and His blessings upon us, and it is good for us. God asks His servants to thank Him so that the servants may increase in God’s goodness.

They should not be ungrateful to God, that is, they should not conceal God’s blessings. Whoever is ungrateful to God’s blessings is a disbeliever, and disbelief is injustice to the self because blessings come by God’s power and destiny.

If he does not thank God, the blessing will be taken away from him. God Almighty asks the believers to seek God’s help in obeying Him through patience and prayer. Patience is what helps you do what God has commanded you to do and not do what He has forbidden us to do. God has forbidden us from the desires of the soul

And commanded us to obey Him, and this requires patience. Prayer is the connection between the servant and his Lord.

If a believer is afflicted with distress, he should be patient.  He prayed and supplicated to God and asked Him for what had happened to him. God Almighty relieved his distress and reassured his heart, and God was with him. God  is with the patient, and as long as God Almighty is with the patient, we must love patience, because it makes God with us.
