verses of Surat Al-Baqarah from verse 114 to verse 123 .

Surah Al‑Baqarah Verses 114:

“And who are more unjust than those who prevent the name of Allah from being mentioned in His mosques and strive toward their ruin? It is not for them to enter them except in fear. For them in this world is disgrace, and they will have in the Hereafter a great punishment.”

Surah Al‑Baqarah Verses 115:

“And to Allah belongs the east and the west. So wherever you [might] turn, there is the Face of Allah. Indeed, Allah is all‑Encompassing and Knowing.”

Surah Al‑Baqarah Verses 116

: “And they say: ‘Allah has taken a son.’ Exalted is He! Nay, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth, and all submit in worship to Him.”

Surah Al‑Baqarah Verses 117

“The Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it: ‘Be!’ — and it is.”

Surah Al‑Baqarah Verses 118

Those who do not know say, "Why does Allah not speak to us or there come to us a sign?" Likewise spoke those before them like their words. Their hearts resemble each other. We have certainly made the signs clear for a people who are certain [in faith].

Surah Al‑Baqarah Verses 119

Indeed, We have sent you, [O Muhammad], with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And you will not be asked about the companions of Hellfire.

Surah Al‑Baqarah Verses 120

Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with you until you follow their religion. Say, "Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance." If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper.

Surah Al‑Baqarah Verses 121

Those to whom We have given the Book recite it with its true recital. They [are the ones who] believe in it. And whoever disbelieves in it – it is they who will be the losers.

Surah Al‑Baqarah Verses 122

O Children of Israel, remember My favor that I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds.

Surah Al‑Baqarah Verses 123

And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, and no compensation will be accepted from it, nor will any intercession benefit it, nor will they be aided

summary of the interpretation of the verses of Surat Al-Baqarah from verse 114 to verse 123 .

After Allah the Almighty showed us the position of the Jews, Christians and polytheists towards each other and towards Islam, and how these three groups confront Islam with hostility and confront each other with accusations, He wanted to warn them, may He be blessed and exalted, against fighting Islam and fighting this religion, and that there is no injustice or crime greater than preventing the houses of Allah, which are the mosques, from prostration and mentioning the name of Allah in them. The enemies of Allah do not dare to attack the mosques and prevent mentioning the name of Allah and establishing prayer in them or demolish them, except that the believers who are in charge of these mosques are weak in faith and weak in religion, and these infidels cannot enter the mosques of Allah except in fear, so it was obligatory for the believers who are in charge of the mosques to attack the infidels.  Even if they entered without fear, this means that the deterrent of faith in the souls of the believers has weakened, and God will not leave them alone in this world or in the Hereafter, but He will bring down shame upon them in this world and in the Hereafter they will be held severely accountable for their aggression against the mosques of God. But at the same time, the believers who were silent or negligent and weak in supporting and defending the religion of God, in this case they have committed a sin and God will not leave them on the Day of Resurrection, but will drive them to the Fire, meaning that they will encounter a great punishment. But preventing and demolishing the mosques of God and mentioning the name of God and prostrating to Him is impossible to implement because the entire earth is mosques, because God Almighty has the east and the west, and all directions are determined by the rising and setting of the sun, so God owns everything in the universe. They have falsely claimed against God by saying that God took a son, for God is too mighty to have a son, rather He is the Creator of the universe and owns what is in the heavens and the earth.

Their innovation is that there is no likeness to them before the heavens and the earth, so He is the One who created without a previous example, that the entire universe is subject to God.  His command is to say to the thing, “Be,” and it is.

We find that those who do not know anything about the Book of Allah and they are the disbelievers.

Rather, whenever a sign comes to them, they ask for another sign.

They were not satisfied with all the miracles that Allah supported His Messenger with, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and taught them that the signs are from Allah Almighty, except that they denied them and did not believe in them. Rather, they increased in disbelief and stubbornness.

They asked the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, for Allah to speak to them, and they know that human nature cannot hear Allah.

So what the disbelievers who lived at the time of Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said is similar to what those who lived at the time of Moses and other messengers before them, peace be upon them, said.

Their hearts were similar and the light does not enter them.

As for the believers whose hearts are filled with light, and who are certain of it with certainty as if they see it with their own eyes, even if they do not see it.

He wanted his Prophet to feel strong and reassured from these disbelievers that he was sent and gives people good news of Paradise if they believe, and warns them of the torment if they disbelieve, and that he is not responsible for guiding.

Those who throw themselves into the fire and torment. He should not be concerned with those who disbelieve. Rather, he is responsible for conveying

Allah wanted His Prophet to feel strong and reassured from these infidels that he was sent and to give people good news of Paradise if they believed, and to warn them of the torment if they disbelieved, and that he is not responsible for guiding those who threw themselves into the fire and torment, so he should not care about those who disbelieved, but he is responsible for conveying the message

. Because the enemies of the religion are the Jews and Christians who did not follow their messengers and did not follow what they recited from their books and do not believe in the truth and lie that they are believers, so true faith is faith in everything that Allah revealed and what Allah commanded of good and what He forbade of evil, so these people will not be satisfied unless the believers turn away from their religion and follow their desires.

And whoever follows their desires after guidance has come to him, there is no supporter for him, but a painful torment awaits him.

This address is directed to the Messenger of God, but what is meant by them is the nation of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, because those who recite the Book as it should be recited, that is, follow it and act according to what is in it of God’s commands of enjoining good and forbidding evil, these are the ones who believe in it.

As for those who recite the Book and do not act according to what is in it of God’s commands, they are the disbelievers who lose this world and the Hereafter, and they deserve nothing but punishment because God has favored His servants with countless blessings, and God Almighty reminds us of the blessings that He bestowed upon the Children of Israel, including their fathers the prophets, so it was incumbent upon them to be an example for them and to do what God commanded and to avoid what God forbade so that they would be like them and attain God’s pleasure and Paradise.

They do not think that their fathers, whom God chose from among the prophets, will intercede for them regarding the evil deeds they committed, because no one will have intercession on the Day of Resurrection except by God’s permission. If God wills intercession, it will be for those who did good deeds from among all the believers, whether they were from the People of the Book who believed in

Islam when it came, or those who lived in the time of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and believed in the heavenly books and the previous messengers, and also believed in Islam, the Qur’an, and the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
